The book is an introduction to the fascinating variety of objects outside the solar system detectable using amateur equipment - written primarily for my grandchildren, it is aimed at children about 12 years old. It is based on photographs I made, mainly from my garden, and includes simple descriptions and basic details about each object plus an outline of the photographic techniques used.
